The use of AI in cybersecurity is a hotly debated subject in the modern digital age due to the proliferation and increasing sophistication of cyber threats. An important participant in national cybersecurity, the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) has been investigating and pushing for the use of AI in cybersecurity plans. Following the advice and recommendations of CISA, this article will explore how AI is changing the face of cybersecurity.

The Evolution of Cybersecurity and AI:

Artificial intelligence’s (AI) story in cybersecurity is one of constant development. From its humble beginnings in areas like virus detection, artificial intelligence has progressed to the point where it can anticipate and avert complex cyberattacks. Recognizing this shift, CISA stresses the need to use cutting-edge AI technologies to remain one step ahead of hackers.

AI in Threat Detection and Response:

According to CISA, threat identification and response is one of the main uses of AI in cybersecurity.
